Name: 2017 Working Together Conference
Date: October 7, 2017
Event Description:
"Mapping Transitions for Deaf and Hard of Hearing: Birth to Adulthood" This conference will focus on ways in which families, Early Supports and Services professionals, providers, school districts, and relevant stakeholders are able to promote successful transitions for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and young adults throughout their life. Speakers will provide an overview of transition services from birth to adulthood. Providers will facilitate small group discussions specific to each age group to engage in a collaborative effort around improving services in New Hampshire. Families will have the opportunity to share their personal journeys navigating transitions with their own children. We encourage anyone working with Deaf or Hard Hearing youth, in any capacity, to join us. Community participation and feedback will be critical to the success and outcomes of this conference.
