Date: March 7, 2018
Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST
Event Description:
Learn how the Nashua Police Department recruits officers at an informational session cohosted by the Nashua Police Department and the Criminal Justice Program at Nashua Community College (NCC). Geared toward students interested in joining the criminal justice field, the event is free and open to any interested members of the public.

“This is a valuable opportunity for individuals to gain information and insight into the criminal justice field, especially for those who’d like to consider it as a career option,” said David Dinwoodie, criminal justice program coordinator at NCC. “The March 7 event will be the first of its kind here at NCC and we look forward to hosting it with the Nashua Police Department.”

Along with Dinwoodie, Nashua Police Department Recruiting Specialist, Officer Michael Dore of the Professional Standards Bureau, will review the law enforcement hiring process in general and talk specifically about the recruitment drive by the Nashua Police Department.

The presentation will cover the entire hiring process, and will include a question and answer session.

The Nashua Police Department is on the lookout for new officers and is currently accepting applications for a police test on April 7. Applications are due by March 26; contact Officer Michael Dore at 603.594.3596 for more information.
