Event Description:
In conjunction with the Nashua Community College (NCC) Lecture Series, Dr. Sara Withers of the UNH anthropology department will facilitate a screening of “Uprooted: Heartache and Hope in New Hampshire". This 30-minute documentary based on interviews conducted by the UNH Center for the Humanities during New Hampshire Humanities' Fences & Neighbors initiative on immigration focuses on five refugees who escaped from war-torn countries to resettle in New Hampshire.
