Job Description

Purpose: Support the marketing team across all functions for Merchants Fleet with a focus on presentation development, process and project management, content distribution, and event management.

Location:  Merchants Fleet Headquarters, Hooksett, NH

Key Responsibilities:

Presentation Development

  • An expert PowerPoint skill level is essential
  • Edit templates as presentation expansion as deemed necessary
  • Create PowerPoint slides within existing templates that accurately and concisely deliver the presenters’ message within brand standards
  • Work with executives, subject matter experts (SMEs), and sales team to take presentations from concept to presentation ready
  • Ability to understand the message and distill it into a concise slide
  • Create, maintain, and update presentation slide library 

Process and Project Management

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing processes
  • Ensure internal marketing resource libraries are maintained, updated, and expanded upon as use demands
  • Communicate regularly to manager and internal teams the priority, progress, deadlines, and outstanding questions of projects

Content Distribution

  • Partner with Marketing Director to ensure content is being distributed through all available channels
  • Partner with other marketing team members and SMEs to meet editorial deadlines
  • Monitor success of content distributed and make recommendation for future subjects and use of distribution channels

Event Management

  • Make recommendations on branding, messaging, and marketing asset use for each event
  • Partner with Corporate Communications on executional details and planning of all events
  • Assist Corporate Communications in large scale employee events 


  • 3+ years prior experience in a marketing position
  • Experience working with various levels of senior management
  • Experience working with marketing agencies, trade show activities and/or public relations preferred 


  • Highest attention to detail and ability to tactfully call attention to needed updates
  • Proficient with MS Office with expert skill set in PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe CC (i.e. Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and tasks to meet critical time lines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to take pride in your work but be open to constructive feedback and guidance 


  • BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
