March 8, 2021 | Bedford, New Hampshire - The world’s largest dealer of Hot Spring ® Spas has opened its doors in Bedford and is inviting the public and media to come tour the new showroom.
The 100% employee-owned Mainely Tubs is proud to announce the opening of its third location. The new store is conveniently located at 1 South River Road next to Rite Aid and less than a mile north of Whole Foods. The company’s Rye showroom opened in April of 2018 and has enjoyed incredible success.
“This year has been incredibly busy for us” commented Jared Levin, the company’s president & CEO. “I think for many, the stress of COVID and having to spend more time at home, has people wanting to create that backyard oasis for themselves. Our products provide that healing benefit and quality family time that our customers have been craving.”
Mainely Tubs is focused on health and wellness, empowering their customers to live each day to the fullest through the use of their world-class relaxation products. Unlike most pools, the nice thing about a Hot Spring® hot tub or an Endless Pools® swim spa is that they can be used year-round even in New Hampshire’s unpredictable weather. A relaxing soak can be the perfect start or end to the day. The company also offers Caldera® and Nordic hot tubs and an extensive collection of indoor and outdoor saunas by Finnleo® and Dundalk LeisureCraft.
When an opportunity came to locate a new showroom in Bedford, Mainely Tubs knew it would be a great fit for their industry-leading products and services.
“Many of our customers create these dream landscapes and rooms where they put their hot tub or sauna, and we’re always excited to help them find local talent to create these spaces,” says Diana Locke, COO of Mainely Tubs. “We look forward to forging partnerships with local, contractors, electricians and designers and to meeting our new neighbors.”
Mainely Tubs was founded in 1978 and its flagship store has been in Scarborough, Maine for 25 years. In 2004, it became the largest volume dealer in the Hot Spring® global network. The company has held that distinction ever since. After more than 40 years in business, Mainely Tubs now has more than 30,000 customers throughout New England.
“Mainely Tubs also offers the largest full-time customer support team and fleet of fully trained service technicians and service coordinators in the region,” says long-time Head of Operations Richard Hyde, “A premium hot tub can last for 15-20 years or more when well cared for. We invest heavily in our service team so that our customers know we will always be there for them over the life of their hot tub, swim spa or sauna.”
In 2016, long-time owner Jim Van Fleet gave a parting gift before his retirement, to his employees in the form of company ownership. He created an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and now Mainely Tubs is 100% employee owned. “We are all owners in the company and many of us are customers too” says Locke. “Our salespeople are not commissioned. We work as a team, as a family. This gives us a unique perspective. We are all about customer service and building long-term relationships with our customers.”
The new fully renovated 6,600 square foot showroom will feature more than 30 hot tubs, as well as a 15-foot swim spa and a variety of infrared and traditional indoor saunas, as well as an outdoor sauna.
