[Manchester, NH, January 2022] - On February 11, 2022, join riders from around the world as we brave the elements on International Winter Bike to Work Day! Riders in Southern New Hampshire can stop by a “fueling” station for hot beverages, snacks, and smiles.

Volunteer trail organization Manchester Moves will be hosting a free breakfast station on the Piscataquog Bridge in Manchester (on the Piscataquog Rail Trail). From 6:30-9:00am, commuters can stop by for refreshments and encouragement on their way to work. In the afternoon, Queen City Bike Collective will offer free hot cider and doughnuts inside their community space at 37 Elm St. from 4:00-6:00pm.

Riders in Derry are encouraged to stop by The Grind Rail Trail Café for special “grab & go” items from 8:00-10:00am. If you're working remotely, come work from The Grind and receive a special discount.

Those who live too far away to bike to work are invited to drive to a designated Park N Ride location. Simply park your vehicle, unload your bicycle, and pedal the rest of the way to your destination. Commuters can use the rear parking lot at the West Side Ice Arena in Manchester or the Abbott Court Lot in Derry.

Winter Bike to Work Day is a great time to come together to celebrate the benefits of active transportation while pushing our physical and mental limits.
