Elaine Michaud Joins Adjunct Faculty at UNH Law School

Devine Millimet attorney Elaine Michaud has become a member of the Fall 2017 adjunct faculty at the University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, NH, as a professor in the Health Law and Policy Program.
Elaine is the chair of Devine Millimet’s health care practice team, Devine Health, and focuses her practice on helping healthcare providers navigate the ever-changing legal and regulatory legal system. As a counselor and litigator, Elaine has developed a comprehensive understanding of the New Hampshire Healthcare industry - from administrative and regulatory obligations to institutional policies and patient care standards - Elaine works with organizations to develop policies and provide legal support to medical staff leadership. As a litigator, she represents healthcare providers in the defense of medical malpractice claims, administrative investigations, and State licensing board disciplinary proceedings.
The UNH Law School program prepares law students for the future of the healthcare policy field, readying them to craft and manage strategies in the industry as it evolves, gain a deeper understanding of the healthcare market, and participate in independent projects to create an interdisciplinary health law understanding.
