H2O Salon and Spa at Top of 2016 A-List in Three Categories

BEDFORD—H2O Salon Spa took top honors in the Best of the 2016 A-List CityVoter competition for Wedding Hair and Make-Up. In addition, the salon was first runner-up in the Beauty and Wellness category for Best Hair Salon, and also first runner-up for Best Day Spa.
More than 9,000 votes were cast in the A-List City Voter competition, which was presented by New Hampshire Public Television.
“All of us at H2O Salon Spa are very honored to have won,” owner Heather Owen, named a New Hampshire Magazine Woman of Achievement in 2007, said.
“We expect this will be one of our busiest wedding seasons yet, and brides will be interested to know that we offer on-location pricing,” Owen added.
“In the past nine years, we’ve earned several state and national awards. I believe it’s because of our philosophy of treating every client as a VIP, that we have a culture of ongoing education with experts in the field, and that we use and offer only the best, most natural hair and skin-care products in our salon.”
A new feature at H2O is all-natural, “tanning” customized to your skin tone. The first-of-its-kind airbrush tan is make-up for the body, giving you a flawless golden glow, beautiful bronze tone or deep dark brown in as little as 30 minutes. With UV-free tanning, you can look healthier without damaging your skin.
Hair and eyelash extensions—“perfect for summer swimming and boating”—are also offered.
Previous accolades include being named Best in New Hampshire three times by New Hampshire Magazine. In 2010 Elle magazine selected H2O as one of the Top 100 Salons in the U.S. (the only one in New Hampshire to be honored that year). The salon was also named a Business of Excellence by New Hampshire Business Review and has been featured on WMUR TV’s New Hampshire Chronicle.
“We also pride ourselves on giving back to the community, because everyone deserves to feel beautiful,” Owen added. “When you look your best, you have the confidence to tackle any challenge.”
H2O’s ongoing partnership with Families in Transition recently earned the nonprofit homeless services provider a generous donation of premium hair-care products.
