DESCRIPTION:WINNIPESAUKEE WINE FESTIVAL RETURNS TO MEREDITH OFFERING DOZENS OF DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL\nWINES TO SAMPLE\nWine Tasting Event Benefits Two Local Senior Centers\n\nMEREDITH\, N.H. – After asuccessful inaugural event last year\, The Winnipesaukee Wine Festival returns to Meredith this summer\, introducing palates to wines from various regions and raising funds for two local senior centers.\n\nMore than 100 wines from around the world will be uncorked and ready for sampling at the SecondAnnual Winnipesaukee Wine Festival on Wednesday\, June 27 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. in the Winnipesaukee Ballroom at Church Landing on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith.\n\nHosted by The Common ManFamily of Restaurants and The Martignetti Companies of New Hampshire\, the wine festival will feature wine\, spirits and beer from local\, national and international wineries and breweries.  Tickets are$50 per person and all proceeds will benefit The Plymouth Regional Senior Center and The Inter-Lakes Senior Center in Meredith.\n\nNew to the event this year is a pre-festival wine dinner the night before\, on Tuesday\, June 26 at The Common Man’s Lago restaurant in The Inn at Bay Point in Meredith.A five-course menu specially prepared and paired with wines from the Bogle and Rombauer wineries will be featured and discussed at the event.  Tickets are $50 per person\, excluding tax and gratuity.\n\nWineries and breweries participating in the Second Annual Winnipesaukee Wine Festival include Peak Organic Brewing Company and Cisco Brewery of Nantucket\, which will feature their Whale’s Tale Aleand Triple 8 martinis served at a martini bar and down a martini luge ice sculpture created by JeffDay of Not So Plain Jane’s in Rumney.  The event will feature numerous California vineyards from J.Lohr to Ferrari Carano\, as well as wines from all over the world including Italy\, France\, Australiaand New Zealand.  \n\nThe Common Man’s Lakehouse Grille\, Camp and Lago will provide hors d’oeuvresand food to accompany the wines\, as will Coyote Grill and other local restaurants.  Entertainment will be provided by jazz duo Don Williams and Dave Tonkin\, and numerous prizes will be up for grabs ata silent auction and raffle\, including a seaside getaway in Nantucket and a one-of-a-kind watercolor by local artist Jodie Herbert of Meredith.
