Manchester Proud is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening public education and supporting the success of Manchester’s public school students. We mobilize the full strength of our community—schools, families, businesses, and partner organizations—to expand opportunity, reduce barriers, and improve outcomes for youth.

Manchester Proud serves as a connector and convener, aligning efforts across sectors to ensure students and families can access the resources and experiences they need to thrive. We do this by hosting community-wide events that connect families to summer camps, enrichment programs, internships, and basic needs supports; coordinating out-of-school time and summer learning opportunities to prevent learning loss; and engaging local businesses to create meaningful pathways between education and the workforce.

Through The Compass, our suite of tools and convenings, Manchester Proud helps families navigate available supports while enabling schools and community partners to coordinate services more effectively. We also bring together educators, civic leaders, nonprofits, and businesses to share data, identify gaps, and work toward shared goals around attendance, literacy, family engagement, and student success.

By fostering collaboration and investing in public education, Manchester Proud is helping build a strong workforce, a resilient economy, and a thriving Manchester community.
