Additional Programming for Any Woman Struggling with Substance Use

MANCHESTER, NH- Families in Transition’s (FIT) Family Willows Substance Use Treatment Center located at 161 S. Beech St., Manchester, NH, has recently added an Intensive Outpatient Program to meet the need of the community.  The Family Willows programs are designed specifically for women who struggle with substance use. The program provides support for overall wellness and recovery and is specialized in mental health and trauma.

When asked about the expansion of the Family Willows programming, a current program participant commented, “One of the best parts about having the group environment here is that you get to see how everyone else is dealing with their recovery.” She goes on to say, “They work with you and give you the support you need. They make you feel comfortable, which helps you to be honest with yourself without the fear of being judged.”

Family Willows is working to break down the barriers for women to work towards living a healthy life. Group therapy sessions are available from 9am-12pm or 2-5pm. Free childcare and transportation assistance are available. No one is denied treatment based on their ability to pay. Medicaid and most insurances are accepted.
