Our College Graduates What we can do in Greater Manchester and across the state to convince more to “work, play, and stay” in New Hampshire. Through the 55% Initiative, more than 3,000 seniors and alumni from our four-year colleges and universities told us why they stay or leave New Hampshire. We now know they view NH quite favorably, but many remain undecided about their plans and then determine that they may need to leave the state to find good jobs. We also believe more may now be staying or returning because life in NH is becoming more attractive to them. The Greater Manchester area is an excellent case study of New Hampshire’s changing landscape.
