The Government Affairs Committee invites all Chamber members to attend a Pre-Primary Executive Council Forum taking place during from 7:30 to 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 7, at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce office at 54 Hanover St. To be held just four days before the Sept. 11 primary election, the forum will feature the three Republican candidates vying for the District 4 Executive Council seat — Hillsborough County Treasurer Bob Burns, state Sen. Tom De Blois and restaurateur Chuck Rolecek.

With the retirement of Councilor Ray Wieczorek, who has held the District 4 Executive Council seat for 10 years, the race to replace him promises to be one of the most exciting elections on the ballot this fall.
