Health and Wellness Series Part III: Stress Management

Stress comes in many forms; things that make you sad, nervous, angry or anxious. There are many ways to relieve stress.  In our session The Training Station and Native Touch Therapeutic Massage will talk about ways to relieve stress using various methods:

Tai Chi - From beginner to advanced training in Tai Chi and Chi Gung. Promote natural health though the better understanding of the correct mechanics of the body.  Increase energy, relieve stress and pain, and live a longer fuller life. Advanced training includes martial training and Nei Gung.

Kickboxing – Kickboxing is a way to take out one’s aggressions in a classrooms atmosphere and relieve negative energy that might come out in the form of anger.     Physical activity relieves stress and gives a positive outlet for the individual.

Massage-  Known as the best drug free antidote to pain, massage has several mental and physical benefits.  In under 30 minutes, a massage session can promote a relaxed state of mental alertness and foster a state of well being and peace of mind.  Massage helps relieve stress while imporving your ability to monitor stress signals earlier.  Frequent massages enhance one's capacity for calm thinking and creativity while reducing one's levels of anxiety.
