Justine Vogel, RiverWoods

Justine Vogel has worked her way up the ranks at RiverWoods and became its CEO in 2007 when she was just 39 years old. She has been at the retirement community for 18 years - the majority of her career - and her professional growth has mirrored the growth of RiverWoods. It has grown from just one building to a community with three campuses on 200 acres, offering independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing to more than 600 residents. Vogel encourages a workplace culture that offers flexibility for people with families, and established an incentivized wellness program to encourage healthy lifestyles.

Karen Van Der Beken, Easter Seals

Karen Van Der Beken oversees a staff of 14 in multiple states and has worked doggedly to expand Easter Seals in these other states where the organization is not as well established as it is in New Hampshire.

Under her guidance, the wife and mother of two sons has built a strong development team that fund raises from a range of sources. The money that her team raises goes to support vital programming for thousands of vulnerable people from infancy to old age, including more than 90 programs in New Hampshire alone.

Maureen A. Beauregard is President and Founder of Families in Transition, a non-profit that provides housing and services to homeless families and individuals in the Manchester, Concord, and Dover areas. Both Maureen and Families in Transition recently celebrated their 20th Anniversary.  During her tenure at Families in Transition, the organization has grown from serving 5 families in a single building in Manchester in 1991 to providing housing and services in Manchester and Concord NH to 200 families and individuals each night.
