The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Sir Winterhurst the Snowman invite you to celebrate the tradition of Citizen of the Year and Manchester’s Winter Carnival

The Manchester Winter Carnival started in 1924 and provided Manchester residents an opportunity to celebrate their love for winter through winter sports, parades and celebrations throughout the Queen City. At one point, the Manchester Winter Carnival was the second largest in the nation!Be prepared for snowball fights, ice sculptures and ice skating on the armory pond. Warm up with hot chocolate or a hot toddy and try your hand at one of the fun-filled carnival games. Don’t miss the carnival float and the announcement of the 2014 Citizen of the Year.
