The Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter

Our mission
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Background: The Alzheimer's Association opened its doors in 1980 as one of the founding Chapters of our national association. In the fall of 1999 the Eastern Massachusetts and the Western Massachusetts Chapters joined together to form the Massachusetts Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. In 2007, the Chapter assumed responsibility for providing services to families and professionals living and working in New Hampshire. Throughout both states, we strive to offer a high level of programs and services.

Offices: Our Bedford office is responsible for providing our broad range of programs and services to the entire State of NH.

Our programs and Services include our 24/7 Helpline, Care Consultations, Support Groups, education programs, professional training, Early Stage programming, publications and newsletters, online message boards, Medic Alert+Safe Return, Trial Match, advocacy, and local resources and referrals.

Get Involved: The Alzheimer's Association hosts three Walk to End Alzheimer's events in the fall. One in Central NH, the Seacoast NH, and Western NH. The money raised during the Walks goes to support the programs and services offered to those in New Hampshire.
