Background:
As one of the largest community service organizations in New England, Ascentria Care Alliance empowers people of all backgrounds to rise together and reach beyond life’s challenges. With six programs throughout New Hampshire that impact more than 10,000 people every year we strive to help individuals and families move forward an thrive – physically, intellectually, socially, spiritually and economically.
Our programs and services:
Since 1985, Ascentria has been empowering and serving New Hampshire residents. We currently provide the following programs: Disability Services, Good News Garage (transportation assistance), In-Home Care, Language Bank (communication access services), Services for New Americans and Therapeutic Family Connections (specialized foster care).
Get Involved:
We appreciate and value all forms of support including financial, time or donated goods that are vital for those we serve, such as household items for New Americans or a life-changing car for a Good News Garage recipient. Any gift – no matter what size – will make a difference in the lives of others.
Volunteers collaborate with us in productive and creative ways to enhance organizational capacity, empower clients and strengthen New Hampshire communities. Tutoring, mentoring New Americans or providing professional services are a few examples of how volunteers effect real and lasting change in others.
