Double Your Pleasure at "Art on the Wall at City Hall" gallery Thursday, June 26th starting with 4:00 PM Awards Ceremony in the Aldermanic Chambers, City Hall, featuring 2 art exhibitions:
1. Peter Noonan's "City Hall Follies" sponsored by "Inches-A-Weigh" and
2. City's 3rd Annual National Art Program/Manchester City Employee art competition, co-sponsored by The Hartford and Group Securities Benefits (supporting sponsors: Northeast Delta Dental, Anagnost Companies, Waterford Development, Bellwether Community Credit Union, Continental Paving Inc., Cigna Healthcare, Currier Museum of Art, Ferdinando Insurance Assoc., LifePlus Inurance Agency Inc., Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA, Teamsters Local 633 NH, Harry & Suzanne Ntapalis, Puritan Backroom and Alderman James R. Roy.) The National Arts Program is designed to give all artists, at all levels of skill, an uninhibited opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional manner and to compete for cash prizes and continuing education scholarships.
All this, combined with the Open Doors Manchester trolley tour plus live music and delightful refreshments and the inimitable John Clayton emcee in charge, it couldn't get much better than that - and it's FREE! Inches-A-Weigh is offering a special promotion for the 4pm Early-Bird attendees, so come early! (Quantities limited).
