The Ujima Collective is hosting the ninth annual African/Caribbean Celebration at Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Manchester on Saturday, August 22, 2009. This unique, annual, city-wide event will feature food, dance, and music from throughout the Caribbean and African world. For the first time in the history of the Celebration a Health Fair will be held. It was created in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Women's Health.
