Join the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire for a virtual discussion with Amy Slipowitz, Research Manager for the Freedom in the World project at Freedom House, to discuss the current state of democracy around the world. Freedom House is a non-profit, majority U.S. government funded organization in Washington, D.C., that conducts research and advocacy on democracy, political freedom, and human rights. This event will kick off WACNH’s inaugural William & Patricia Ayers Global Tipping Points series this fall. Attendees of this online event will gain a deeper understanding of why democracy is in decline and what steps need to be taken in order to reverse this trend.
