Free Adult Open House Combines Classical Music and a Drum Circle The Manchester Community Music School (www.mcmusicschool.org) is hosting an Adult Open House on Wednesday, December 9th from 4:30pm-6:30pm in the Gruber Recital Hall. Tamilyn E. Little, licensed Music Therapist at the school, is the guest speaker. She will be speaking about Music and Mental Health and how playing, singing, or listening to music will make your day better and your life healthier. Judy Teehan, Executive Director of the Manchester Community Music School states, ?The Adult Open House is a time to share music and friendship with others. In an informal setting, this is an opportunity to share in each others? learning and playing music.? The MCMS recorder ensemble will perform pieces by Mozart and share their experiences in their group. Faculty Elizabeth Blood, and her student Mary Mclaughlin, will play a composition for piano 4 hands. Food and beverages will be served.
