The wait is over! Please join the Manchester Community on Earth Day to celebrate the opening of the Manchester Cedar Swamp All Persons Trail and making nature more inclusive! When: April 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to noon (rain date: May 3, 2022) Where: Manchester Cedar Swamp Preserve, Manchester, New Hampshire (speaking portion will also be livestreamed on Facebook and Instagram). What to Expect: A fun-filled celebration! You'll hear from community members involved in shaping this universally accessible trail followed by a walk in the woods. Registration: This event is open to all! Registration is required so that we can properly plan for our attendees' needs. Register at www.nature.org/AllPersonsTrailNH Event Details: A brief, celebratory speaking program will include a variety of community members instrumental in the creation of the All Persons Trail. ASL interpreters will be on site. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the trail at their leisure. Staff will be available along the trail to answer questions and share their experiences and knowledge. Note: Visitors are invited to explore the rest of the preserve as well (traditional trails). Event attendees will be asked to park up the street at RiverWoods Manchester. RiverWoods will provide a shuttle to and from their parking lot to the event location (~2 minutes).
