Heart disease is the number one killer of women.
A startling 1 in 2.5 women die from heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases, which is nearly 500,000 deaths per year. In fact, more women die of cardiovascular disease than the next five causes of death combined, including all cancers.
Go Red for Women aims to mobilize women, men, celebrities, healthcare providers and politicians to embrace and elevate the cause of women and heart disease.
New Hampshire’s Third Annual Go Red for Women Luncheon and Educational Forum, (chaired by Katy McGrath, Vice President and Director of Corporate Communications for Charter Trust Company), will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at The Radisson in downtown Manchester. We are expecting over 500 attendees at this year’s event.
Don’t miss this exciting event, which will include educational workshops, health screenings, a cardiologist keynote speaker, inspirational survivor stories, a silent auction, a heart-healthy lunch and much more.
