The historic Palace Theatre will be the venue for the exclusive Manchester showing of Warren Miller’s feature film FLOW STATE on Sunday, November 11th at 2:00 PM and will benefit Kristen’s Gift, a restricted fund that supports pediatric oncology at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) . Warren Miller’s FLOW STATE guides viewers to the top of the world’s most striking peaks, taking them on an exhilarating ski and snowboarding journey across the globe to Norway, Austria, California, Switzerland and beyond.
The exclusive one-time only Manchester screening of FLOW STATE, presented by this year’s local business underwriter Ken Jones Ski Mart, will include a host of activities from raffle prizes to ski-themed silent auction. In addition to the film, CHaD will honor individuals and businesses from the community that have supported the hospital at the second annual Kristen’s Gift “Hall of Fame” Awards.
Kristen’s Gift is a charitable fund established by Manchester businessman John Xiggoros in memory of his late daughter, Kristen, who succumbed to cancer at age 15 in 1997. This fund benefits children participating in cancer treatment at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD). All money raised from this event goes directly to the care of the children at CHaD.
