Event Description:
Explore both literal and symbolic signs in a fun and social environment! Best Dressed Signs, an all-by-hand sign painting company located in Boston, will offer a demonstration and brief talk on sign painting's history. Enjoy a tour of the special exhibition Still Life: 1970s Photorealism and learn about the social context in which these works were made with Sylvio Dupuis, who served as mayor of Manchester from 1972-1975 and a Currier docent. A cash bar and full menu will be available at the Winter Garden Café, and MANCHUKA, a local funky dance band, will be performing live. Free with Museum general admission.
