Heritage United Way announces the 2006 Day of Caring which will be held on Wednesday, September 13,2006. The Day of Caring is simultaneously coordinated with all the other United Ways in New Hampshire and for Heritage United Way it also coincides with the 2006 Community Campaign Kick-Off. There are two ways you can participate in the Day of Caring: 1) Attend our Community Kick offevent from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at the Merchants Auto.com Staduim. 2) Get a group of volunteers from your company together to work on community projects for the day. Last year, over 600 community members spent a day working to make the community better. They performed 66 service projects at 41 partner and nonprofit sites. Day of Caring is a fun, rewarding experience for everyone involved. Companies need to identify a Day of Caring Coordinator. The Coordinator will be in charge of filling out the registration form and coordinating the volunteers within your company.
