The Elliot’s Cancer Center remains a leader in cancer care as it incorporates both radiation and medical oncology, state of the art technology, accessibility, and a comforting environment all offered by skilled healthcare providers. The Walk for Hope raises funds for necessary programs at the Cancer Center that offer resources regarding education, nutrition, transportation and mental health. Patient and Family Nurse Navigator Program helps with understanding care options, scheduling and billing support and assistance with patient advocacy. Nurse navigators work directly with patients, their loved ones and their care teams to provide this additional support. Other programs include: lunch services for patients in treatment for several hours at a time, a food pantry, rideshare services and gas gift cards, mental health bundles, an educational Survivor Series and art therapy programs. We are counting on your help to reach our fundraising goal and to support the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot!
