It's no secret that Manchester is experiencing growth, with much more on the horizon! To ensure sustainable, inclusive and resilient progress, our city needs to be prepared. In collaboration with Mayor Ruais, the Greater Manchester Chamber is hosting a new forum, Future-Focus Manchester. These sessions are aimed to shed light on the critical preparedness steps Manchester is taking, and needs to pursue, to be able to accommodate the anticipated growth. Each forum will focus on a specific topic related to urban development, including zoning, housing, education, childcare, first responders, homelessness, transportation and infrastructure. This focused approach will allow the opportunity to review the related planning and mobilization in more depth and hear insight from the business community.
In the first Future-Focus Manchester taking place on October 1st from 7:30-9am at the Rex Theatre, Mayor Ruais and Director of Planning & Community Development Jeffrey Belanger will discuss a recent hot topic and how it will impact the future: Manchester's Zoning Amendments. Please join us for part-presentation, part-conversation at this gathering where the audience will have the opportunity to ask direct questions.
All community members are welcome to attend at no cost but registration is required.
