The Manchester Area Human Resources Association (MAHRA) is holding a Healthcare Forum on April 17th at the Derryfield Country Club in Manchester, New Hampshire from 7:30 AM- 12:00 PM. The event will feature healthcare industry and local business leaders discussing the innovations in healthcare that can help control rising costs for employers and increase engagement for employees that may help inform and improve the overall healthcare experience.
The keynote speaker, Jared Landis, from Advisory Board, a healthcare thinktank based in Washington, DC. In his nearly two decades at Advisory Board, Jared has developed a reputation as one of the industry's preeminent thought leaders, noted for his ability to pull executives out of the day-to-day to focus on the most critical priorities facing their organization. As a national spokesperson, Jared helps set the industry's direction via keynote presentations at major conferences and client-specific strategy sessions.
The event will also encompass two in-depth panel discussions aimed to inspire new ideas to help employers better manage their health plan.
The first panel will focus on innovations that employers can employ to help control the rising costs of healthcare, featuring experts Caitlin McCormick, Vice President of Sales & Account Management at UnitedHealthcare, James Roberson, Vice President of Growth and Retention at UnitedHealthcare, Pharmacy, Liz Spath, Senior Principal at Mercer, and Amy Mayo, Vice President of People Operations at Oliver Mechanical.
The second panel will discuss how to help increase member engagement in their health benefits and ultimately help improve their healthcare experience. This panel will feature industry leaders Gina Nelson, Director of Consumer Experience at UnitedHealthcare, Mim Minichiello, Chief Performance and Talent Officer at HUB International, Ryan King, Vice President of Human Resources at Northeast Delta Dental, and Val McClendon, Financial Advisor at Boston Wealth Strategies.
