Spring is here and summer isn’t far away. And with rising temperatures come an increase in downtown street issues that can impact your business.
At 8am, Thursday, May 15, you are invited to the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to hear Manchester Police Chief David Mara, Assistant Chief Nick Willard, and other members of the department’s senior command staff discuss the current conditions in the central business district and downtown parks. The department's past, present, and future responses to the issues that are troubling these areas will also be shared. Issues to be discussed include, but are not limited to, panhandling, lewd conduct, vandalism and graffiti, public intoxication, prostitution, vagrant camps, and more. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of, and offer comments to, Chief Mara and his command staff.
If you care about downtown Manchester and how its condition affects your business, you won’t want to miss this important discussion.
