Network breaches and ransomware are big news stories every week especially in light of COVID-19. Jason Nickola and Tim Connell will start with a 10-15 minute demonstration showing how easy it can be to access what you think is protected. They will discuss the preconceived notions of security, and how to ease the fear and uncertainty with easy tips that will make a big difference with most of us all in a remote work environment.

At times, even more now than ever, your company's security risk is due to your employees.  Due to lack of awareness, employee behavior can make your company a hacker's dream.  Jason and Tim will provide easy information to help educate your employees.

Jason Nickola is a Senior Security Consultant at Pulsar Security located in Londonderry. Pulsar Security is a security team focused primarily on offensive services from vulnerability assessment and penetration testing to phishing simulations and more custom red team engagements. The team leverages offensive experience as do-good hackers to build products designed to help analyze and secure large-scale enterprise environments. Jason has presented at national conferences such as DEFCON and heads a local nonprofit security conference called BSides NH. Jason is a passionate advocate for security for his company and anyone interested in learning about the industry. Tim Connell, Head of Enterprise Products at Pulsar Security, works to guide the Pulsar team in creating solutions which satisfy the needs of real-world customers, specializing in the areas of data management, storage network visibility, and enterprise security.  Tim?s passion for technology help people and companies protect themselves from having their sensitive data compromised. He also enjoys working with professionals looking to advance their careers, and is willing to give guidance anywhere that he can.
