Violence, Bullying and Problem Employees in the Workplace
The costs of workplace bullying and violence to a business are significant, resulting in poor morale, inefficiency and employee turnover. In this seminar, you will learn how to prevent, manage and respond to bullying, threats, violence and other problematic behavior by employees as well as by third parties who have access to or contact with your employees. You will also learn best practices for implementing policies and procedures for addressing these behaviors.
About the Speakers:
Adam M. Hamel
Adam is a director in McLane Middleton's Litigation Department and serves as vice chair of the firm's Employment Law Practice Group. He assists employers with a variety of litigated and non-litigated employment law issues including charges of discrimination, wrongful termination, violation of restrictive covenants, and wage and hour issues, among others.
Alexandra L. Geiger
Ali is an attorney in McLane Middleton’s Litigation Department and a member of the Employment Law Practice Group. She regularly represents employers in discrimination, wrongful termination and contract disputes, including claims brought before state and federal agencies, and counsels employers on managing risk with respect to the employment relationship. Ali also represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of business and civil litigation matters.
