What’s In Your Handbook? Drafting Policies Which Focus on Workplace Diversity, Inclusion and Safety
Your handbook plays an important role in establishing the tone and culture of the workplace, and few policies are as important a signal to employees as those covering diversity, inclusion, and safety. During our session, experienced attorneys will explore the concepts behind non-discrimination and workplace safety and how policies should be drafted to comply with the law. Effective policies should not only offer a commitment to an inclusive work environment, but also provide guidance for how employees can report concerns and have confidence that they will be promptly addressed. You will come away with drafting tips to help ensure the handbook is a helpful and supportive resource.
