Ever sat on the couch watching The Amazing Race and said, “I could do that!”? Well, now is your chance! The Queen City Stampede is scheduled to race through Manchester, NH on Saturday, September 21^st.

This unique and fun event will begin at Veteran’s Park on Elm Street and proceed through nearly a dozen secret locations. Each team of two will be required to complete a challenge at each location before receiving their next location’s clue. And if you are more interested in the reality show celebrities, The Queen City Stampede will host household names like Richard Hatch and Bob Crowley from Survivor, Michelle Costa from Big Brother, and David and Mary Conley from The Amazing Race for the event. For an additional fee, participants can even register to compete in The Queen City Stampede with their favorite reality show celebrity and attend the VIP after party as their guest.

Besides being the only race of its kind in the Northeast, The Queen City Stampede also is setting records by lowering the minimum participant age to 8 years old. “One of the main reasons we were most excited to bring this race to Manchester was the family component,” says Sister Jacqueline, Holy Cross Family Learning Center Executive Director. “Our board was impressed that The Queen City Stampede would include the opportunity for families to come out, spend the day working and playing together, and in the end, build lasting memories.”

Registration is now open at www.queencitystampede.com and by using the promotional code AMAZING (all caps), registrants can save $60 on the current team registration fees. All participants receive a shirt, reusable water bottle, medal, commemorative bib, and the opportunity to win up to $250 of valuable prizes for finishing 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd in one of the established 6 divisions. Divisions are determined by adding the ages of the team members together and whether the team is Adult-Adult or Adult-Child.
