The New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council) will host its next TechWomen Power Breakfast on November 11 from 7:30 to 9 am at the Manchester Country Club, 180 South River Road, Bedford. Dawn Zebuhr, a former Captain in the United States Army and the current director of human resources and customer experience for the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains will be presenting ?Bringing Female Strengths to Traditionally Male Dominated Positions and Industries.? ?We?re so excited to have Dawn as our guest speaker, particularly with this month?s breakfast falling on Veteran?s Day,? said Candice Benson, CEO of Benson Consulting and chair of the Council?s TechWomen Power Breakfast Committee. ?She has a tremendous list of accomplishments and we are eager to learn more about her military service and how those experiences have shaped her both professionally and personally.? Zebuhr started her military career in the ROTC program at Lafayette College in Easton, Penn. After receiving her Commission in the U.S. Army Aviation Branch, she attended flight school and eventually began flying the UH-60 ?Blackhawk? in preparation for her deployment to Somalia, Africa. Following her deployment, Zebuhr was promoted to Captain and from there, her career took her from Wonju, Republic of South Korea, to Fort Rucker, Ala. She earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy State University and after eight and a half years in the U.S. Army, she transitioned to civilian life.
