SHADES OF GREEN

All Americans are being called upon to participate in the movement toward greater sustainability. Yet, as our annual dinner theme implies, there are many shades of green from which to choose. Our levels of commitment may vary, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to escape our need to preserve a healthy planet and conserve irreplaceable resources.

In order to promote the vitality of our business community and secure Manchester's place in the evolving new economy, we must advance a community-wide assessment of how we measure up to our "green" competition. What are we doing to develop sustainable businesses and attract the talented workers needed to support them?
